You will need hand weights and ideally a moderately weighted kettle bell or medicine ball.

I think this drill also allows to put in Bon Sao/Larp Sao sequence instead of elbow guard (Lan Sao) in almost the exact same way as it is done in Chum Kil form (with turn), so you can attack the shell with Bon Sao, open up it up with Larp Sao from the side and get the blindside by turning the opponent, right?
